CYNDI LONG, LCSW
GET TO KNOW ME
My approach to helping comes from my passion for walking along side people on their journey to heal and grow through adversity. Life has a way of taking unexpected turns we wouldn't have chosen for ourselves, that can leave us feeling confused and upset. You don't have to navigate your struggles alone. I am a non-judgmental therapist, who provides a safe space for you to be heard and understood, while also introducing a variety of tools and skills to improve coping and help you create lasting change.

Self-efficacy is the belief in oneself that you can change. My perspective allows for time and space for people to grow and change at their own pace. I will equip you with the strategies unique to your needs to help you accomplish the goals you set.

My style is eclectic with an emphasis on being authentic and creating a therapeutic alliance with you as you explore and discover your authentic self, uncovering your own hidden personal resources, and power in the process.
MY QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Clinical Social Work by the California Board of Behavior Sciences (LCSW 66258)
Education and Work Experience
I believe in providing clients with a nonjudgemental space to explore the issues most important to them ensuring they feel heard and understood. Creating a space of hope for them to move into as I introduce skills and tools to navigate life's challenges independently. Sometimes digging into an issue is what's needed and sometimes radically accepting and letting go is what's needed. My collaborative approach in treatment planning offers clients a choice in how they want to heal and grow. Since 2006, I’ve helped patients in the Stockton/Lodi area with some of the most critical circumstances in their lives. I have been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the East Bay of San Francisco for the past nine years, providing evidenced based practices that show life changing results. I am proud to share my qualifications with you.
